Jeeps

This year the Link Road Car park will be transformed into a race track and we will have a number of jeeps for everyone to have a hand at driving......................

5 weeks to go

With 5 weeks to go the beginning of a new term means all systems are go. All of a sudden everyone ramps up a gear. Most things are well on track - here is a quick update

Sponsorship: We are really pleased to say that Killara First National Real Estate have agreed to become a major sponsor again this year - yahoo.

Kitchen Connection will also be sponsoring us and for every Kitchen that is ordered Corpus Christi will recieve a $500 donation

Additonal sponsors will be added to this list as they are confirmed

Silent Auction:

Ingrid and & Suzi are working flat out to make this the huge success it always has been, if you can help them in anyway please give them a call.

Tombola:

Next week is tombola collection - look out for Frances Letter it gives all the details of the items she is looking for.

Side Show Alley:

Have you sorted your prizes out for the Side Show Alley Prize stall. When you have please can you leave them outside Year 6 classroom - they will be collected everyday. Alternatively call Angela Keighery or Adriana de Luca

Craft Bazaar:

16 exhibitors and counting with more on the way.............

Gourmet stall:

The girls are going great guns and thank you to everyone who has been making so much wonderful food.

Books, CDs, DVDs, Videos, Records

Please leave them outside the Learnig Suport classroom (next to Kindy classroom) and I will put them away everyday

Raffle ticket count

David Brayshaw - Featured artist

David Brayshaw is our featured artist this year - well done Carmel and Michelle for arranging this.

David will be with us on Opening Night - I will upload his biograhy over the next few days

Silent Auction

Do you have a contact that may be able to provide an item for the silent auction/

Perhaps you can donate a service - hairdressing, plumber, electrical or even a mowing the lawn or babysitting.

Are you a cook? - how about creating a four course dinner with a group of friends and cooking it for a dinner party - IF anyone wants to create a "4" to do this then you can count me in to help (Dawn).

Books/CDs/DVDs

Easter is a time to go through your bookshelves and your stash of CDs and DVDs - any you don't want any more - I bet there are..............please can we have them.

You can either bring them to school this week and leave them by the clock and notice board or give Madelaine Chapple a ring and drop them off at her house.

Her number is on the contact list or email me and I will give you her details

Raffle Prizes

Who want to win two nights at a 5 star luxury hotel in the Hunter Valley for themselves and a friend - ok you can take your partner.............

IF ou like the sound of any of these then you need to buy some of our raffle tickets.

We have 700 books to sell - this could raise an amazing $14,000 for our school this would be a record breaker for us.

When you sell your tickets please return the stubbs and the money to the office as soon as you can - marked for th eattention of Helen Leaver or Michelle Mcarthy - if you would like some more don't forget to write it on the envelope.

Food fabulous food....

Well all the girls manning the BBQ and the International Food stalls have gone into overdrive with their preparation.

Menus have been completed and our Co-ordinator Jane Nowland now has the task of tracking down many of the things the girls need - go Jane!!!!!!!!!

So set your taste buds alight thinking about Yvonne's star paella, the asian stalls moutwatering dim sums - not sure if that is the right spelling - but you know what I mean, the South Afican stall will be helping s all to expand our wastelines with their beautiful deserts - and who can resist pasta ummmmmmmmmmmmmm. To satisfy the aussie in us all we can not forget the BBQ - these girls really know how to get organised - very impressive.
